Colorblocking!

Betsey Johnson Sunglasses
Forever 21 Striped Tank
Pacsun Skinny Belt
American Apparel Double-Layer Chiffon Skirt in Colbalt (Please ignore the water stains!)

One of my favorite spring/summer trends this year is colorblocking. A simple way that I like to pair pieces together is to contrast brights! Forever 21 has lots of inexpensive crop tops, and I am just completely obsessed with American Apparel skirts. Together I think they make a beautiful color sandwich!

Across the Galaxy

Sheer Black Top
Galaxy Hi-Low Skirt from Romwe (Can be found here)
Chinese Laundry Black Patent Pumps
Oversized Sunglasses from Romwe (Can be found here
Jewelmint 'For Audrey' Earrings

I finally have a galaxy skirt, and it's the hi-low/tulip hem! (It's gorgeous, I die.) It was quite a windy day from what you can tell, but thankfully this skirt also comes with a black slip underneath. I kept the sheer textures consistent and paired it with a chiffon type of black top. Happy Hump Day!

XOXO,
Tasha

Thrifting With Sister!

DIY Paramore Shirt
Studded Shorts (Can be found here)
Alexa Studded Calfskin Duffel (Can be found here)
Leopard Foldable Flats by FootzyFolds Luxe from Hautelook

03/10/12: I spent the day with my sister, Taylor, thrifting at Goodwill and buying way too much snacks. I dressed pretty casual (due to laziness), but it turned out pretty coordinated to my surprise! I bought one item, a gorgeous mint green skirt, that I will feature in a later blog post. The shave ice was purchased from Baldwins, one of my favorite places to get local snacks. (Banana and cotton candy with condensed milk and ice cream=winner.) Also got some banana candy, gummy worms, and li hing cherry. NOM!

Tasha

I love velvet. I love the sheen it gives off, the texture, everything! It was such a big hit for winter, and this dress is the perfect example of it!

It's Hammertime!

Raybans
Lucky Brand Tank
Black Bandeau
Black Skinny Belt
Thrifted Patterened Pants
Jeffrey Campbell Black Suede Litas

I just love these patterned pants that I got from the Goodwill! They are so comfy and large, my husband actually thought they were pajama! (They are really nice to sleep in lol.) I just love the look it gives though, it reminds me of MC Hammer pants :) It's so chic too with a tucked in tank, and the Lita's make the hem the perfect length! I want to thrift now!

XOXO,
Tasha

Sunday Shopping!

DIY (Cut the sleeves off) English Laundry Boys Top
 Shorts
White Tights from Icings
 MakeMeChic.com Lace Dandelion Bag
 NYLA Combat Boots

Cheers to the first post of hopefully many to my brand new blog, Shoes and Sunsets! Jumping right in, I went shopping today at Ala Moana with my family :) An early CPK brunch gave us fuel for the 4 hours of shopping that lay ahead, and alas, all I ended up with was a incorrect Starbucks drink and a "Halloween" soap from Bath & Body -__- At least I got outfit pictures!

Enjoy your upcoming week readers <3

Jeffrey Campbell

So like thousands of other girls across the nation, I have been OBSESSED with Jeffrey Campbell and his impeccable taste for unique, sky high shoes. My personal favorite of course are the Litas (so typical, I know), but how could anyone not love them? (Scratch that, my dad said I looked like Frankenstein when I wore them.) The picture directly above is my own personal pair, argubly the best $170 dollars I ever spent. I got the black suede which is surprisingly not difficult to work with. In terms of how they feel, they are EXTREMELY comfortable, (another surprise), and I get compliments every single time I wear them :) If you were considering getting a pair but are on the edge due to the price, you WON'T regret it. If you already own a pair, I bet we are on the same cloud 9.

Until next time!

XOXO,
Tasha
